The Podcast and Portable Media Expo in Ontario, California has officially wrapped up. In two short days, lots of great podcasting information was shared and relationships formed. I was particularly excited to see so many techies from Seattle taking part in the event. Over the course of the expo, I bumped into Seattle podcasters Michael Lehman, Philip Lee, Leif Hansen, Eric Weaver, Ricardo Rabago, Scott Bourne, Rob Greenlee, Pete Grondal, Andrew Schlichting, Jake Ludington, Bre Pettis, and Stephen McCandless.
In addition to the expo, Ontario was also home to the second annual People’s Choice Podcast Awards. Expo goers gathered at the Marriott Friday night to watch podcasters being awarded by the most important judges of all, the audience. Pictured below are the Podcast Awards with Stephen Malaster of StreetIQ. StreetIQ sponsored the event by funding the trophies for the second year running. Hi Travis…I’m really glad I got to be a part of the expo this year, despite the little sleep and too much drink friday night, and it was fun seeing you and other SPNers there. I’m psyched to finally have some time to get back into the fun and powerful world of podcasting.
